Why is exercise important?
 

Have you ever heard the term "if you don't use it you lose it"? It is true! Your muscles will get flabby and weak. Your will joints stiffen and be more prone to injuries. Not to mention that high blood pressure or heart diseases may come knocking at your door. Exercise improves stamina, strengthens, tones, enhances flexibilityy, controls weight and improves the quality of life.

What is PILATES?
 
Is it like Yoga? Even though Yoga and Pilates use breathing with movement, the focus differs. Yoga focuses on broader muscle groups and if offers spirituality, flexibilty and endurance. Pilates focuses on core strength and muscle toning. Both Yoga and Pilates have benefits however they shouldn't be confused as being the same form of exercise.
